Ask managers to make 10% more profit and the slicing and cutting knives are dusted off, aks them to grow through acquisitions and the list of take-over canditates will be on your desk first thing in the morning. Ask them to grow on foreign markets and the tickets are already booked.

Ask them to achieve 10% autonomous growth and all you hear is silence.

Growth from the inside, from power and inventiveness is the hardest thing to achieve. Especially on the saturated markets of today. Growth is needed to stay ahead of the commodity hell. And besides; it separates the men from the boys.

You need to see what happens before it happens!

The normal methods of looking ahead don’t cut it anymore. Besides, everywhere commoditization and value erosion is winning ground.

A new approach is needed. Companies need to be connected 24/7 with the entire context of their markets and their consumers. They must operate as a radar station in order to see what happens, before others see it.

We call this connectivity and it is the groundwork of the innovation process called INNOA (continue)

Many markets are saturated and commoditization is a new phenomenon. The parity of products and services has never been bigger. The ability to be different is being eroded , it is in risk of becoming a ‘blur’.

The added value or meaning of products is aging rapidly. The tide though, is turning. More and more attention is given to autonomous growth. Growth from the inside out is a true sign of power and success. It separates the boys from the men. The entrepreneurs from the controllers.

Autonomous growth cannot be achieved without innovation. They are two sides of the same medallion (end)
